A walk thru Leakin Park yesterday afternoon rewarded
me with lots of wood thrushes calling, one veery and
one gray-cheeked thrush. Come summer, wood thrushes
here are only outnumbered by plastic bags stuck in
trees...a curious claim to fame for the Gwynns Falls.

I did not see any YCNH nests near the Windsor Mill
bridge parking lot. If anyone reading this knows
whether or not they returned this year to this spot,
please drop me an email offline, I am curious to know.

Heard my FOY peewee today along Deep Run near Elkridge
along with a mob of cedar waxwings. Orioles and
red-eyed vireos are plentiful throughout the southern
Patapsco Valley State Park.
