Keith Costley called this morning to say "Why aren't you down at Milford
Mill?" He has been stopping there early on the way to work. He said it
was really hopping this morning.

So I went down there around 10:30 and he was right. Like so many other
people today, I got a bunch of warblers -- 14 species, as opposed to 8
yesterday -- with big numbers of Myrtle's and a good number of
Black-throated Blues and Redstarts. Furthermore I finally saw a Scarlet
Tanager. The only drawback was that I had a hard time seeing many of the
warblers in contrast to yesterday.

-- My warblers and a few other species today were:
Blue-winged Warbler - well-seen yesterday but heard-only today
Nashville Warbler - ditto
Northern Parula (totally missed yesterday!)
Yellow Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler - well-seen yesterday but heard-only today
Magnolia Warbler - FOY, well-seen, one of my big favorites
Black-throated Blue Warbler - ~10
Yellow-rumped Warbler - ~25. No trouble seeing them!
Black-throated Green Warbler - 2
Black-and-white Warbler - 3
American Redstart - ~10
Worm-eating Warbler - not seen despite 20 minutes of waiting and
following, but very vocal
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
Catbirds - they really came in last night
Scarlet Tanager - 2, one seen well
Baltimore Oriole - 2 seen
Alas, though, no Rose-breasted Grosbeak yet.
