Blue Mash Nature Trail, Zion Road Section, Montogomery County, 3 May 07,

A somewhat cool morning with intermittent sunshine.  Birds of note included
a Spotted Sandpiper (and a beaver again) on the outside pond, Chimney Swift,
Great Crested Flycatcher, White-eyed & Red-eyed Vireo, House Wren, 2 well
observed Wood Thrush, many Gray Catbird, 8 warbler species - Nashville,
Yellow, Black-throated Blue, Yellow-rumped, Palm, B&W, Ovenbird & Common
Yellowthroat, 2 White-crowned Sparrow along the landfill fence line and
Orchard Oriole.  Tree Swallow & E. Bluebird egg-laying is underway in the
nest boxes.
