Thanks to Dave we picked up both the Ibis and the Bittern this morning. We also got a fabulous look at a perched Barred Owl eating breakfast, at Raileys Lock. We watched for 10-15 minutes and it was still there when we left.

Hi Everyone,

The Glossy Ibis reported yesterday continues to be seen at Hughes Hollow. I observed the Ibis feeding to the right of the island in the big impoundment on the left as you walk in. An American Bittern perched on a log and gave all the birders present fantastic views. Only other notable sighting for me was a female Hooded Merganser.
