I enjoy your lists of sightings -- Thanks to all of you!

Last Saturday, at one of the ball fields at Schooley Mill Park, there was a flowering tree -- buzzing with
honey bees -- first time to see so many -- in a long time.

(The tree blossoms looked like bradford pear, but the trunk/bark was peeling like a crape myrtle.)

Most noticeable birds:

orchard orioles -- lots!
Eastern kingbirds - 2 staring at each other at close range
Indigo buntings
Scarlet Tanager
blue birds
warblers --- common yellowthroat, others not identified
blue-gray gnatcatcher
red-bellied woodpecker
downy woodpecker
brown thrasher
chickadees
blue jays
cardinal
house wren

Thanks!
