   I spent most of the day counting in Fairmount WMA and vicinity yesterday. It has a decidedly different flavor than what most experienced for the May Count. At least one of each species was seen unless noted as heard. 106 species. Most of the shorebirds were in the impoundment at the WMA, others were in fields or on Long Point off Colbourn Creek.
