Queen Annes Co May count highlights

      Hi all On saturday like many other  I did May Count  but mine was in 
QA county  in the Queenstown  , Centreville sector  6:00 AM till 3:30 PM  .  
While I am still working on the  list from my notes   rough  number is  72  
species  [ My part Only ] highlights   1 mostly breeding plumaged  Horned  
Grebe ,    67 DC  Cormorant   on a pound net in the Chester   River .
Great Blue Heron    6
Great  Egret          1
Mute Swan        1
Wood Duck     5
Ruddy  Duck    8     Reeds Creek
Bobwhite       3
Semipalmated   Plover    3
Killdeer      6
Greater yellowlegs     3
Lesser Yellowlegs       2
Semipalmated Sandpiper   8
Least Sandpiper    3
Dunlin      2
Least Tern    10         eight over the QA county  Highschool    in  
Centreville were they nest
Eastern Bluebirds    5          a pair nesting at the edge of my vegtable 
garden  babies hatching on

Northern  Parula     1  yard bird
Yellow Rumped warbler     2
Black and white Warbler    1     yard bird
Redstart      2
Scarlet Tanager     4
Meadowlark     1
Orchard  Oriole     3
