I led a bird walk at Rock Creek Park in connection
with the Bioblitz there. I wasn't expecting much with
a 4:30pm start time but the birds were pretty good.
Lots of vocal SWAINSON'S THRUSHES and BLACKPOLL
WARBLERS. A few YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, too. Perhaps
RED-EYED VIREOS are still moving through, as one
locust tree held 3 of them.
These birds were mostly in between the Nature Center
and Glover Rd.
