I led 3 birding trips as part of the bioblitz organized by National
Geographic at the Rock Creek NP.

I don't have the exact total for bird species sighted in a 24-hour period,
but it is between 80-82 species in all. A total of 20 warbler species were
observed by participants. Here's the list:

Northern Parula
Tennessee Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Cerulean Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Louisiana Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Hooded Warbler
Canada Warbler

Other notable sightings were:

White-eyed Vireo
Philadelphia Vireo
Yellow-throated Vireo
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Swainson's Thrush

All in all, it was a very satisying effort.
