Folks

Gwen and I went to Myrtle Grove today to look for a Mourning Warbler and found an Alder Flycatcher instead. The bird was along the entrance road about 100 yards before the ponds. The bird was singing vociferously but was hard to see well. I did managed to get some images.

A single Solitary Sandpiper was flushed, Yellow-breasted Chat are very active here, as well as some other nesting birds. Cedar Waxwing were also around.

There was also a Common Loon in breeding plumage on the fishing pond at the parking area.
