Hi all:

I have an visitor coming to my area on the 24th or 25th through the weekend
who is looking to see a number of birds. I have some covered but am
requesting any one out there with any good location info on the subject
birds to help out: Blue Grosbeak and Chat and Prothonotary warblers are the
targets. If Hooded, Kentucky, Yellow-throated warblers or Red-headed
Woodpecker are in the same area of any known sites for the subject birds
that would be a plus.

I am in South Central PA and if any one has any decent spots for these
without driving over a half day for each one, I would appreciate some help
off list. The C&O canal - at Pennyfield, Violets Lock, Sycamore Landing
area, Hughes Hollow (McKee Beshers now I believe) are within reach at about
2 hours for me or some similar driving distance in any direction. Huntley
Meadows is a similar driving distance for a Virginia reference. Baltimore is
a similar distance or closer depending on which side of the city is
involved. Hagerstown is closer, so points West of or in other directions
from there there work.

This person will be able to squeeze in some time for birding and I agreed to
try to run down some species and go with him.

Thanks in advance
