Yellow-nosed Albatross in Mass. with possible local relevance

FYI. If they do get a web site up to track this
beasty, wouldn't that make it a lot easier to try and
find it in local waters! This may well be the same
bird that has been seen with frequency at Cape
Hatteras and along the eastern seaboard including
sighting by NJ birders who were driving on the Garden
State Parkway, and last year in the Gulf of Maine.

Of Special Note:

The YELLOW-NOSED ALBATROSS recovered in York has been
successfully rehabilitated and released in
Massachusetts.  Before its release, this bird was
fitted with a satellite transmitter.  A webpage to
follow its movements is supposedly in the works.
