Looks like they just are not here this year, Chris.

My wife and I biked from Riley's Lock to Sycamore Landing (that's 
from below MP 23 to above MP 27) on May 23 without hearing or seeing 
any Ceruleans -- and we were specifically looking out for them.  Paul 
Woodward, who birds this area regularly, has also reported to 
MDOsprey that he has not had a single one this spring.  It's truly 
disappointing.

Jim Green, Breeding Bird Atlas coordinator for Montgomery County, 
told me that the county had two confirmations and a probable for 
Cerulean Warbler during the Atlas period just finished at the end of 
'06.  Two of these were in the area we biked and the other a bit 
further up the canal towpath.
