Dickcissel at Antietam Battlefield

A late afternoon Memorial Day drive along the roads at Antietam Battlefield
turned up two singing Dickcissel near the intersection of Hagerstown Pike
and Mansfield Ave.

A Grashopper Sparrow was seen in its usual location near Tour stop #3, but
the usually nearby Vesper Sparrow was not seen.

 A Prairie Warbler and a Yellow-breasted Chat were also seen on their
territory at Tour stop #10.

The Cliff Swallows are very active at their nests under the aqueduct that
crosses Antietam Creek at the C&O Canal.
