I closed out the holiday weekend with a close-out run on the eastern shore. I
started the morning in eastern Queen Anne's County. On Bear Pond Rd north
of Templeville were 1 Kentucky Warbler, 2 Hooded Warblers, and a Yellow-
throated Vireo. After swinging into Delaware and back, I got my close-out
Worm-eating Warbler on Anderson Corner Rd.

I then drove up to northwestern Kent County. The sewage ponds on
Chinquapin Rd near Worton had 1 Dunlin and 1 Bonaparte's Gull. Great Oak
Pond was more productive with 1 Canvasback, 4 Semipalmated Plovers, 2
Semipalmated Sandpipers, and 4 Least Sandpipers. Heading up to the Still
Pond Creek area, I picked up a Warbling Vireo and a Baltimore Oriole at the
crossing of Still Pond Creek. At the end of Still Pond Neck Rd, I found my
close-out Prairie Warbler.

To avoid the Bay Bridge traffic, I swung up into Cecil County to go home and
ended the day with my close-out Yellow-breasted Chat at Courthouse Point
WMA.
