This morning, from about 10:00 to 12 noon, I birded Little Bennett
Regional Park in Montgomery County, walking several of the
trails that take off from the parking area at the intersection of
Hyattstown Mill and Prescott Roads in the western end of the park.
The bird of the day was a singing KENTUCKY WARBLER, easily
visible (yes!) from the extension of Hyattstown Mill Road (beyond
the point where the Owl Ridge Trail branches off). I also heard two
WORM-EATING WARBLERS along the Owl Ridge Trail and a
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER singing along Saper's Branch.

Other birds worth noting:

Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Pileated Woodpecker
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Acadian Flycatcher
Red-eyed Vireo
Wood Thrush
Swainson's Thrush
Northern Parula
Blackpoll Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Ovenbird
Scarlet Tanager
Indigo Bunting
