Greetings,

The Kent County Bird Club's last field trip for the season will be to
Tuckahoe State Park and Adkins Arboretum, in Queen Anne's and Caroline
counties, on Sunday, 3 June. This is a diverse area of wetland, woods
and meadows. Nesting birds we might find include Wood Duck, Wild Turkey,
Pileated Woodpecker, Barred Owl, Grasshopper Sparrow, Prothonotary
Warbler, Louisiana Waterthrush, Prairie Warbler, both orioles, and
Scarlet Tanager

We will meet at the Dollar General Store in Chestertown between MD-213
and Philosopher's Terrace east of the traffic lights at Spring Street
and Md-213 at 7:00 AM. This will be an half-day trip. Be sure to wear
good walking shoes. We hope to see many of you there.

Good birding,

Walter Ellison & Nancy Martin

Observing Nature is like unwrapping a big pile of presents every time
you take a walk.
