Hi,
I was surprised to see a tan-striped version of a White-throated Sparrow
in my backyard about 11:15 this am. It was actively feeding near the
birdbath, and appeared to be healthy.
While the yellow book shows them possible in MD in June, I assumed this
would be more likely in the western counties.

Cliff,
We also still have a White-Throated Sparrow in our yard, a male, and
have not spotted a female. Wonder
if it wasn't healthy enough to flown north with the others earlier this
month.
