Cliff:

I was going to say that I have fairly often seen WTSP in early June,
but when I checked my records, I was surprised that my memory was
COMPLETELY faulty in this regard!

Here are our "last of the Spring" sightings for WTSP since 1988. The
unmarked dates are all in Montgomery County while those seen elsewhere
are noted as to county.

1988 5/19
1989 5/14
1990 5/13
1991 5/06
1992 5/10
1993 4/25 (**)
1994 5/11 5/21 (Cecil)
1995 5/13
1996 5/09
1997 5/11
1998 5/02 5/16 (Garrett)
1999 5/08
2000 4/17 (**)
2001 4/25 (**)
2002 5/14
2003 5/11
2004 5/06
2005 5/09 5/14 (Worcester)
2006 4/16 5/05 (Worcester)
2007 5/15 (Worcester)

(**) we were travelling out of Maryland during the mid-April period in
these years.

Bob Ringler should be able to comment on where the early June
sightings have been most often reported.

Best,
Norm
