Today I went biking in the outskirts of Pocomoke City and saw the following
birds.
2 Bobwhite
4 Prothonotary warblers ( one of which I watched hopelessly as it flew into
a passing car in front of me, she died on impact.)
9 Ovenbirds
3 Yellow Warblers
5 Common Yellowthroats
2 Summer Tanagers
1 Scarlet Tanager
2 Blue Grosbeaks
9 Indigo Buntings
10 Pileated Woodpeckers ( when I imitated their call and 3 of them flew
right up to the closest tree to me about 10 feet away, they hung out there for
at least 15 minuets.)
2 Red Shouldered Hawks ( one with a large rat snake )
1 White Breasted Nuthatch
1 Louisiana Water Thrush
3 Yellow Billed cuckoos
10 Wild Turkey
20 Grackles
6 Ruby Throated Hummingbirds
1 Bald Eagle
15 Cardinals
5 Horned Larks
10 Great Crested Flycatchers
1 Eastern Wood Pewees
12 Cedar Waxwings
4 White Eyed Vireos
2 Red Eyed Vireos
1 Rufus Sided Towhee
17 Chipping Sparrows
Most of the birds I saw where seen on River View RD.
