Took a quick early-a.m. trip to the back parking lot at Zadok 
Magruder High School, off Munchaster Mill Road in Montgomery County. 
I'd covered this area for the breeding bird atlas the past two years 
and had previously found some interesting field birds there. This 
a.m., I had one each of the following (all singing):

eastern meadowlark
grasshopper sparrow
yellow-breasted chat
blue grosbeak

In addition, orchard oriole, indigo bunting, eastern towhee, field 
sparrow, plenty of barn swallows. Missing from last year: willow flycatcher.
