I saw a couple interesting species at the lake this morning.  First, I saw and heard warbling vireos at two different locations.  There was  a pair on the island near the open field.  They hovered near a nest in a maple tree but never visited.  I was tipped off by a female cowbird that flew over and stuck her head in to check things out.

At the far end of the lake there was another warbling vireo as well as a yb chat carrying food.
