Most of the summer residents were out enjoying the beautiful morning.
My only unusual sighting was a Red-tailed Hawk on the phone wire sw of
the MD121 bridge. In my experience, Red-tails are much less common at
LB than Red-shoulders (which I didn't see today).

Yellow Warblers are much less numerous this year than in recent years,
at least in the short stretch between the MD121 bridge and the parking
lot (which has always been good for 2 or 3 previously - none so far this
year), and also between the parking lot and the old school (FOY today,
and it was singing the song similar to that of a Hooded Warbler).

On the other hand, I seem to be hearing more Ovenbirds than ever before.
