Hi all after reading Fred Fallons posting about finding The
Dickcissel near Wye Island. I dropped everything and went looking after
work on 6 - 22 . the first pass thru yielded only Grasshopper
Sparrows and Meadowlarks one singing on a fence near the road. On the
way back thru once more I heard and saw a singing male Dickcissel on the
powerline were he descibed . A great county bird for the year . We had
one one in this exact location on territory during the atlas last year .
Also 2 Bluebirds and Several Barn swallows were presant on Fri .

Happy Birding
