Just a short follow-up to Janet's comments about Brown Thrashers being
varely quiet. My experience with over 25 years of BBS routes under my
'belt' is that thrashers in general seem to be much quieter than their
mimid relatives Northern Mockingbird and Gray Catbird. I think I see as
many as I hear on routes and they are not nearly as vociferous as mockers
and catbirds.
