MD Osprey:

I was just chatting with Gail Mackiernan and she mentioned that she 
had seen one of the Aspen Hill (Montgomery County, MD) Monk Parakeets 
on June 19, 2007 sitting on a telephone wire. For the past few years, 
there have been reports of this species from this area, including 
several reports of two birds at once.

Please keep your eyes open for this species and especially any signs 
of nesting.

Gail suggested checking around the Taco Bell, the K-Mart, and 
especially around the cemetery.
