The immature White Ibis was still present this morning at Merkle wildlife
sanctuary. Helen Patton and I saw it around 7:30 in the main pond directly
behind the visitor center. With it were 2 Little Blue Herons and a Great Blue
Heron.

The immature Black-crowned Night-heron was in its usual spot at Schoolhouse
Pond (find the whitewash and then look up).

After seeing the birds already reported by Bob Ringler at North Beach, we
found a Surf Scoter at Rose Haven in Anne Arundel county, completing a 3
scoter day. Finally, further up Rt 261/Friendship Rd in Anne Arundel was a
Cattle Egret -- at the goose pond across from the marina.
