Yesterday morning, Paul Lehman and I went wandering
down the Anacostia River.  The most exciting find was:
4 Wild Turkeys in the abandoned nursery borderied by
Howard Road, South Capitol Street, Anacostia Drive. 
Two of the birds were young of the year, large and
skinny.  Six Semipalmated Sandpipers flew over
Kenilworth Park heading upriver.  On Wednesday Paul
saw 1 Grasshopper Sparrow at Kenilworth Park.
