This Saturday, August 18, Sean McCandless will lead a trip to Turkey Point focused on early migrants, particularly warblers. Sponsored by the Cecil Bird Club, this is the kick-off of the fall season for Turkey Point and often some exciting warblers are seen. Meet at the Turkey Point Parking Lot at 7 a.m. This trip involves a moderate amount of walking and is a 1/2 day trip. Directions: from the town of North East, travel south on 272 about 11 miles, through the town of Chesapeake Isles, to the parking lot on the edge of town.
