Hello all.
Great action at Fort Smallwood today. As the morning and early afternoon
progressed, the parks' pond, now at its lowest water level in years, became
host to over 35 waders, which is far more than usual...notably including 1
Tricolored Heron and at least 20 Great Egrets.
The expanded mud and grassy areas did not, however, provide much in the
way of shorebirds. Maybe tomorrow.
