Me again; new subject,

This morning I romped around my neighborhood looking for migrants on Hances
Point in Cecil County. I was not disappointed.

The notables in my yard included: Wood Duck, Ruby-throated Hummingbird,
Red-eyed Vireo, White-eyed Vireo, Eastern Phoebe, Great-crested Flycatcher,
Common Yellowthroat, Northern Parula, and Magnolia Warbler. The later may
be a yard bird; I’ll have to check...

Other notables (From my in-law’s yard a mile or so to the south and
overlooking the North East River/Susquehanna Flats included Double-crested
Cormorant, Laughing Gull, Forster’s Tern, Sharp-shinned Hawk, a very
young/recently fledged/still wearing downy feathers Song Sparrow, a similarly
plumed Carolina Wren (aren’t these late for fledglings?) Ruby-throated
Hummingbird, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Eastern Wood-pewee, Red-eyed Vireo,
White-eyed Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo, Common Yellowthroat, Pine Warbler,
Black-throated Green Warbler, Redstart, Indigo Bunting, and Blue Grosbeak.

Good birding,
