Hi all,
   I birded Lake Artemesia this morning from 7:15 to 10:15. I didn't keep a
detailed list but I had a good enough day that I thought I'd post some
highlights. All the best birds were in the vicinity of the bridge over the
Indian Creek.

Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Hairy Woodpecker
Eastern Wood Pewee
White-eyed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo

Blue-Winged Warbler - 1 maybe 2
Northern Parula - 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 2 or 3
Magnolia Warbler - 2 or 3
Black-and-white Warbler - 1
American Redstart - 5+
Worm-eating Warbler - 1
Ovenbird - 1
Hooded Warbler - 1

The Hooded Warbler tried to throw me off by staying high and not having any
trace of a hood, but she couldn't resist fanning her tail.

I've seen about 10 Chestnut-sided Warblers at Lake Artemesia in the past
couple weeks and not one has had any chestnut that I could see--are the
adults all long gone?

I was a little surprised to have a woman ask me if I know where the Luther
Goldman Trail is. I told her I don't think it has any physical existence
yet, but she didn't like that answer since she was supposed to meet someone
there. Any idea what the status of the trail is?
