I walked thru the yard this morning just as the sun was warming up the tops
of the trees. Among the usual suspects I had a Female Redstart and what I
believe to be a first year female Cape May Warbler.
I had to go to the guides on the Cape May Warbler. Just a note: the
difference between Sibley's and the new National Geographic Guide on a first
year female is rather striking.
A few days ago in the early morning, I thought I heard a Brown Thrasher
singing ... not a full song, but nonetheless, a Brown Thrasher. I went
searching and found it.
I also had a Cardinal begging for food yesterday and a parent did some
feeding.
