I was lucky enough to see the golden plover at about 10:30 this morning. As I was leaving, a crew from the county park arrived and commenced to lining the fields apparently in anticipation of upcoming games at the football field. The bird evidently didn't much care the for activity and flew off to the north - I didn't see it land, it just kept going, and going, and going ....

Hello all.
I hit Brandon Woods twice this morning and on both occasions only the
immature American Golden Plover was present. With the marginal habitat here,
that in and of itself is really great.
Bill Hubick and I had the bird at 7:30 and Matt Hafner and another birder also
saw the bird while I was there later in the morning.
