Hi all. Just an interesting note that I wanted to share. Yesterday when George and I we out at Turkey Point, we saw many warblers finding spider webs and picking the bugs out of them. I saw Blackpoll, Red Start, Black throated Blue, Black throated Green and Magnolia doing it. The webs were full of goodies and they were just picking them right out.

On another note Please join me tomorrow at Turkey Point for a 7 am Fall migration walk. Anything can show up, but highlights are usually Hawks, Warblers, Vireos, and Flycatchers. Flies have been biting and chiggers are a possibility so bring bug spray.

One final note. I have started my own web site. Inspired by many people including Maurice Barnhill, Bill Hubick, and George Jett. I have a tone of photos to go thru and Its still a work in progress, but many of the warblers from yesterday are on there.
Check out the Black throated Blue Warbler. He is right in front of a spider web.
