Hi Everyone,

I joined Matt Hafner, Jim Stasz, Tom Feild, and John Hubbell on an intense day of birding in Harford Co. yesterday (9/16). We began at 4:00 a.m. to listen for night migrants, but found that Matt had decided to get there EARLY. The night flight was pretty good, but it proved to be a great day for migrants overall. We ended with 108 species in Harford, including 18 species of warbler and an impressive 985 Broad-winged Hawks. Most important to Jim and Matt, the county listing stalemate continues with Stasz one bird ahead of Matt in the hotly contested county. We were under the strictest instructions to not tell Jim if we spotted an Olive-sided Flycatcher or Baird's Sandpiper. Fortunately, we weren't forced to choose sides.

Here's a breakdown of noteworthy species by location. I'll post some photos over the next couple days.
