Usually, I bird Little Falls Park (the part between Hillandale Rd.
and Dorset Avenue, Bethesda) in the spring. But today, 9/17, my wife
and I decided to go over for a couple of hours of morning fall
birding. Lots of bird activity and lots of bathing birds -- mostly
Robins and Catbirds. Best bird was a Northern Waterthrush in the
channelized stream.

Full eBird report follows:

Location: Bethesda--Little Falls Park
Observation date: 9/17/07
Notes: Little Falls Park deserves more attention from Bethesda
area birders. It is a dependably interesting area during migration.
The shallow, channelized stream has many emerging willows and has
become an attractive bathing and drinking area for many bird species.
