Also, keep your ears/eyes open -- it was about this time of year couple of years ago we had a Saw-whet in our yard all day, first located by the little bunch of Chickadees, Nuthatches and Tits mobbing it. Several birders (and our neighbors) enjoyed it -- it flew off at dusk.
