enjoyed a 6-woodpecker day and also a few migrants. Here are the highlights:

red-bellied woodpecker
downy woodpecker
hairy woodpecker
northern flicker
pileated woodpecker
yellow-bellied sapsucker

Joy and all,

We topped that on a combined Carroll+Howard trip to Dickey Farm. For the
first time ever I was in a group of a dozen of us that got all 7 probable
woodpeckers. I've had 6 before but this is my first 7. So add the Redheaded
(ours was a cooperative immature) to the above list. We got 'em all.
    Now if we could just get something exotic like a Red-cockaded ...
