Driving home from Baltimore on 295 S in my ill-handling rental car, I
glanced over to my right and noticed two turkey vultures wearing white bags
over their heads...oh wait no! Two adult BALD EAGLES on the same dead tree
on which they often perched last fall/winter. After swooping by the house to
grab my camera, they were still there, but flew after I slid down the muddy
embankment. Also spooked, a Great Blue Heron, and four Mallards. A Great
Egret was stalking about 100 yards away. That's about all I scrounged up
from four minutes of ad hoc birding.

I'm not sure what county the pond was in- I was heading south on 295 just
before the 695 exit. My car's in the shop, my DeLorme is in the car keeping
my bins company. Hindsight is 10X50.

Good Birding,
Matt
