I birded from Big Pool to Harper's Ferry, stopping at access places along the river. Highlight at Big Pool was a  Bonaparte's Gull. At Williamsport I had a bird call once overhead, a clear 'ti-jit' that sounded right on for Redpoll. I walked through the brushy area below the Route 11 bridge hoping the bird landed, nothing. Walked back the car I flushed up three Snow Buntings from the gravel road below the bridge, nice consolation prize!
