This afternoon a young Cooper's Hawk sailed past my
window, less than 100 feet away.  This morning at
about 7:20, on my way to the office, I saw a Turkey
Vulture skitter kind of low over East-West Highway in
Chevy Chase.  I don't think I've seen this species on
my morning commute before.
