Took a brief spin around Hains Point today from 9 to 10 am. Among the usual Mallards and Cormorants, we saw:
--A lone Northen Harrier flying over Washington Channel and landing on the grounds of Ft. McNair next to the National Defense University building
--60 Buffleheads flying over the mouth of the Anacostia
--A Bald Eagle flying over the Channel
--Hundreds of Ring-billed Gulls flying north up the AnacostiaBecky, Catherine, and Andrew Dubill
