Jim Brighton and Mikey Lutmerding had 5 BLACK SCOTERs at Rocky Gap State 
Park early this morning.
I think that was the highlight of my (rather long) day.  I spent most of 
the early morning looking for birds that had been reported in Garrett 
County recently (but mostly that I had already seen) and the afternoon 
looking for birds in Frederick and Carroll Counties.  At Piney Run Park 
I had about 500 Canada Geese but I couldn't relocate any of the Cackling 
Geese that Bob had there 3 days ago.  There was a single CANVASBACK 
there and many of the other species that he reported like Gadwall, Am. 
Wigeon, Bufflehead, Ring-necked Ducks, Hooded Mergansers and Am. Coots.
