This morning at Blackwater NWR, I had 2 adult Bald Eagles harrassing
an American Coot, presumably trying to tire it out. I also had 5
American White Pelicans way distant from the fire tower point. The
bird of the day though was Lark Sparrow in the little garden behind
the Visitor Center, a life bird for many and a county bird for me.
We had a total of 53 species on what was really a very quiet day.

Best,
Norm
