During my lunchtime walk today, I found a large feeding association near
the DC Veteran's Memorial. It included at least 4 Brown Creepers, a
White-breasted Nuthatch, a Downy Woodpecker, several Carolina
Chickadees, at least 3 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and at least 2
Yellow-rumped Warblers. This may be the largest and most diverse
feeding group I've seen at the DC Veteran's Memorial.

The Tidal Basin had a single Ring-billed Gull.

The Constitution Gardens pond had only the usual ducks (Mallards and
1 American Wigeon), Canada Geese and a few Ring-billed gulls. All the
diving ducks were gone. The Gardens themselves had some Dark-eyed
Juncos but little else.
