Hi All

Well the Pisi finally arrived in the garden today.... and I was at work.  
My good lady wife not only picked out the little stripey chap nibbling at the 
nut bag but also photographed it well enough to throughly grip me off on my 
return home this evening (hope you all are up on British birding terms - if not 
then check Bill Oddie's Little Black Bird Book for an explanation).   However, 
the pix are evidence enough to advance the house bird list one step further, 
so alls well.  Perhaps it will hang around for Thanksgiving.

We live in Van Ness NW DC - is this the first Pine Siskin of the autumn that's 
actually in the district?
