I've been wondering when the accipiters would show up this season at the feeders in my back yard.  Today a small immature Sharp-shinned Hawk fed on Mourning Dove in an oak tree plainly visible from our dinner table.  Not all of our guests really wanted to watch, while eating their own meal.
