Hi Folks!
I am also a fan of Rumbly Point Road and have been along it in many stages
of tide.....the most interesting when the entire length of the road was under
water. I can appreciate the expense for Somerset County to try to maintain
the portion through the salt marsh to meet minimum safe road standards. I
also we can safely say that sea level is rising. If Somerset County decides to
close the road, I will not argue against it. The roadway will be passable on
foot for many years.
