I had a single female Harlequin Duck at the Ocean City Inlet this morning. The bird flew in from the north (close to shore) with a group of 5 Long-tailed Ducks. The long-tails kept going south as they passed the south jetty, but the harly veered off and disappeared behind the south jetty. Now that the jetties have been renovated, looking for eiders and harlequins is much more difficult. You can try the elevated observation area by the old Coast Guard Station (at the southwest corner of the parking lot) for a little height advantage.

Also the White-breasted Nuthatch continues at the 96th St. Woods in OC. Rather odd.
